Smara is software used online. Nothing physical is shipped. What you pay for is access to the service on your account: the plan's minutes of live conversation, its sites and taught tasks, or a pack of extra minutes.
2. When it starts
As soon as the payment is confirmed, usually within a minute. Your account shows the new plan and minutes straight away.
If your bank takes longer to confirm, the plan starts the moment it does. If a confirmed payment has not reached your account within 24 hours, write to hello@smaralive.com and we will apply it by hand the same day.
3. How long it lasts
A plan payment covers 30 days from the moment it is confirmed. Paying again before then adds 30 more days on top, so nothing is lost by renewing early.
Nothing renews on its own. When a period ends, the account moves to the Free plan and keeps its sites, taught tasks and data.
Extra minutes do not expire.
4. Custom avatars and set-up work
Where a plan includes making a custom avatar or voice, we agree the date with you by email once we have what we need from you. It is usually ready within 7 business days.
